think pink birthday party

I was thrilled to have another opportunity to collaborate with Felicity from Styled by Felicity, for her youngest daughter’s birthday celebration. Little Harper turned three in June, and she couldn’t wait to host all her little friends at her very own pink party.

Harper’s third birthday was the perfect occasion to go all out and create a fun party using loads of Harper’s favourite colour…PINK! I was absolutely delighted I was given the opportunity to plan and style a pink-inspired party. I wanted to capture lots of girly details in all elements of the party. I like to use my imagination and put extra effort into decorating a table. On this occasion, I chose a palette of three different colours, pretty pinks, white and elegant touches of gold.

The table was set with pink square paper plates, and topped with a gold square plate. The wooden cutlery was set in pink napkins. Every pink paper cup was dressed with the number three topped with a gold paper straw. The water bottles featured a special birthday message especially for Harper. The centrepieces were gold candle holders with flickering tea lights, aswell as pink and gold confetti. The special floral arrangements captured in gold vases were created by Felicity.

IMG_0734Designing event stationery is one of my most favourite parts to party planning. I simply love stationery and believe if you choose well, it can really create the WOW-factor! I had the great pleasure of working with Alison from Just Add Confetti again. On this occasion Alison created bottle labels, and stickers for the paper cups.

Food is very important for beautiful little ones, Felicity created a delicious menu that not only satisfied their hunger but excited their tastebuds. Felicity couldn’t resist adding a lot of pink and yellow to the menu. Check out the cleverly designed menu created by none other than Harper’s Mummy:

  • crown cookies
  • harper heart cookies
  • hello yellow cupcakes
  • pink and white coconut ice
  • pretty pink melting moments
  • pretty popcorn cups
  • royal ham and cheese quiches
  • sausage rolls
  • strawberry and chocolate doughnuts

Felicity outdid herself by creating the incredible yellow masterpiece. The birthday cake was a heavenly vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream, topped with beautiful yellow and pink roses, aswell as a sparkly number three, fit for a beautiful little princess.

While dancing through this glamorous partyscape, if you were dazzled by all the pink details why not create a ‘think pink party’ for your favourite little one! You are most welcome to use any of the precious pink party ideas.

Alternatively, I’d be delighted to do all the hard work for you! Hosting a child’s party is no mean feat, as any parent can confirm. There are so many things to organise. Wouldn’t it be great if you could get rid of at least some part of the mammoth task by outsourcing it? All it takes to get the party started is a phone call to me on 0424 728 798, or the click of the mouse to our contact page. I would love to create a joyful and memorable party for you and your little one!
